Background:
Patrick Stamm founded Talon PSS after 40 years as an experienced operations and technology leader driving transformation and improvement through the application of operations management, technology, analytics and artificial intelligence.

He joined UnitedHealthcare in 2005 and served in various leadership roles including COO of Shared Service Operations were he was responsible for leading operations supporting government and commercial businesses through Provider Services, Global Operations, Payment Integrity, Business Technology Support and Advanced Analytics.

With a budget of $3B and an extended team of over 30,000 people around the world, he worked with operations areas to ensure they had the global capabilities needed to support delivery of high quality service for customers and care providers. He established and built the Advanced Research and Analytics team, a highly capable team of advanced analytics, ML and AI experts who accelerated adoption and value creation from information and data. Additionally, he created an Automation and Robotic Process capability delivering annual impacts of over $180M. Through rigorous process management, real-time proactive interventions and leading Big Data and analytics capabilities, Patrick created the industry leading Payment Integrity team focused on getting claims paid correctly and accurately. These advanced PI capabilities are used to identify instances of fraud, waste, abuse and error and positively impact medical costs by more than $10B per year.

Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, Patrick held various technology and operations roles during his 9 years at AT&T (BellSouth) and is also a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he spent much of his career building operational effectiveness and solving critical force readiness issues. He earned his undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science in Management, from University of the State of NY and a Master of Science, Quality Systems from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA.
